EKOTAM conducts research and disseminates knowledge in the fields

of design history, theory, education, and practice. It develops, produces,

and implements design projects in response to demands from various

sectors. EKOTAM plays an integrative role between education and

industry, serving the sector by providing design consultancy.

It contributes to the development of design in Turkey, supports

initiatives such as design councils and museums, and organizes

seminars, congresses, conferences, and scientific meetings.

Additionally, EKOTAM prepares and broadcasts radio and TV

programs. It establishes sub-units, working groups, and platforms in

the field of design and supports the activities of organizations with

similar goals.
